China Camp '07 Form Demonstrations. Forty-six martial artists from several disciplines and locations in China, USA, Italy, Germany, Norway, and Denmark perform their forms in this prestigious event. Names and styles are provided in titles of each performance, so you get to know who these accomplished martial artists are. These DVDs are good additions to martial art instruction libraries for owners and operators of schools and businesses (martial art, as well as tai chi for health groups, qigong, etc.) and all who work to preserve Chinese internal martial arts practices and principles.


Master Wu Ji Lan Shou Lessons, with Grandmaster Qin Zhong Bao.Two-DVD set. Part One includes a demonstration of the chow quan section of the Lan Shou form, basic move drills, including walking drills, application demonstrations, and a few standing qigong exercises with Grandmaster Qin.

Part Two: Master Wu Ji Lan Shou Muscle-Tendon Stretching Exercises. This 35-minute DVD is a review of stretching exercises that Master Wu Ji's taught as part of the lan shou system training during China Camp '07. The exercises are grouped together for easy follow-along learning.

 


Basic and Advanced Training Exercises with Master George Xu (Xu Guo Ming). Two-DVD set in which Master Xu shares his latest information in 2 hours of drills, application demonstrations, and lecture in early morning practice sessions at China Camp 2007.

 


Tongbei Training Exercises with Master Zhao Ya Jun, from Beijing with the Zhonghua Wushu Wuxing Tongbiquan Association. Three-DVD set. Excerpts from some 5 hours of foundation training in early morning practice before breakfast at China Camp 2007.

 

 

LECTURES

Each master expresses a high level of knowledge, demonstrating how intricate even the basics can be and the degree to which you can always further refine even the simplest concepts. Combined, the lectures deliver a wealth of diverse views that you can add to your own repertoire of lessons in internal martial arts and qigong.

 


George Xu Lecture on Chen Style Taijiquan. Discusses using the energy of the predator in your practice. Lists eight things describing what Chinese internal martial arts are for him.


Li Tian Wei Lecture on Xing-Yi Liu He (Six Harmony). Master Li discusses in personal terms his approach to the study and living of martial arts as a personal journey and a wholistic philosophy.


Xu Guo Chang Lecture on Wu Style. Discusses incorporating the seven stars cosmology in moving and how the human body, thus taiji movement, is a microcosm of the universe.


Master Wu Ji Lan Shou Lecture. Discussion and demonstration of principles and techniques of the lan shou system. Very application-oriented.


Yun Yin Sen Lecture on Liu He Ba Fa/Six Harmony-Eight Method. Demonstrates his famous wooden ball and techniques with dantien, foot movements, and heart and mind.


Qian Zhao Hong Lecture on 10 Animal Xing-Yi Quan. Discusses the breadth of gongfu: qigong, basic principles, chi, dantien location, the integration of health and internal martial arts practice and even a little history of the Chinese culture.


Jiang Bao Kang Lecture on 12 Animal Xing-Yi Quan. Master Jian begins by confessing that he is not a good speaker, then gives a most honest review of his personal history and his teachers and demonstrates a Bagua form and a Xing-Yi dragon form.


Wu Mao Gui Lecture on He Tong Bei. Discusses the importance of precision in executing form and the difference between "he" tong bei quan and "tongbiquan" and other internal martial arts.

Jin Zhen Liang on Chen Style Taijiquan. Master Jin discusses very eloquently how Chen Style taijiquan incorporates yin/yang, spiraling (chan shi), qi (energy), and yi (mind) in movement and in one's personal outlook on life and one's self in the world.

Ji Ah Dong Lecture on Yang Style. Discusses and demonstrates internal principles, such as breathing properly and staying peng.
